Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), also known as medical skin microneedling.

Men and women of all ages, from young people to older adults, can benefit from dermaplaning. Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Using a scalpel and a delicate touch, Alison simply abrades the surface of the skin using light feathering strokes. This is a great treatment to offer to patients who are pregnant or nursing who want a deep exfoliation, but are not allowed to use peeling agents on their skin because of the risk that the chemicals will be absorbed into the blood stream, and may be transferred to the fetus or the child. It is also a first choice for patients who have excess vellus hair on the skin. This hair often causes a buildup of dirt and oils in the follicles, so removing the hair gives the patient healthier looking skin.

The skin needling system allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair mechanism by creating micro “injuries” in the skin which triggers new collagen synthesis yet does not pose the risk of permanent scarring. The result is smoother, firmer, and younger looking skin.

Fractional Skin Resurfacing – The Fractora delivers targeted bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy to various selectable depths in the skin. Fractora meets and exceeds the results of fractional CO2 without the associated downtime, prolonged redness, and pigmentation drawbacks. Fractora achieves full-scale treatment depths with customizable fractional energy to improve superficial skin tone problems (photo damage) to deep textural concerns (wrinkles and tightening). Practitioners can select between variable depths, densities and energy levels for results that were previously unattainable without excisional surgery. Fractora can be used on all areas that can benefit from skin renewal. The most commonly treated areas include: lower eyelid, crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines, neck and décolletage.

Am I a Good Candidate for HydraFacial?

The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. However, if you are taking a high amount of diabetes medicine, or have recently had a bacterial skin infection, this treatment may not be right for you.

If you have any additional questions, consult your physician or skincare professional for a skin evaluation and sensitivity.

How Often Should You Get a HydraFacial?

One of the most common questions we get is how often should you get a hydrafacial? Since hydrafacials are packed with benefits and no downtime, many of our patients prefer to have a hydrafacial once a month. Depending on your goals, you may decide to come more or less often. Learn more about hydrafacial benefits from Tracey in our video.

For the best results, we would recommend around four or five regularly scheduled treatments.

How Long Does a Hydrafacial Take?

A HydraFacial usually only lasts from 20-30 minutes. So, you can easily fit one in on your lunch break, and you don’t have to worry about your treatment taking up all of your day.

The HydraFacial Process

During your facial treatment, your aesthetician will perform the following steps.

Cleanse, Prep & Exfoliation

First, your aesthetician will apply a gentle cleanser to remove any preliminary make-up, oil, dirt, or build-up on the surface of your skin. The cleansing solution will have a slight cooling and exfoliation effect. This step also applies moisture to your skin to help loosen dull and dry skin so the HydraFacial device can suction them away. Loose sebum will also be removed during this process. Once complete, the newer and younger layer of skin will be revealed, leaving your skin bright and fresh.

Solution Application

Next, the proprietary mix of glycolic and salicylic acid is applied through the unique HydraFacial vortex applicator tip. This solution can help reduce acne and removes any remaining dead skin cells. It also helps break up deeper deposits of dirt, oil, and other impurities.

Deep Suction

Third, using the applicator’s special vortex extraction, your aesthetician will remove blackheads, sebum, and other impurities from deep in your pores.

Purification & Rejuvenation

Finally, your skin will be infused with a proprietary solution containing hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and more. After this step, your skin will be purified, feel refreshed, and healthy. Additionally, the hyaluronic acid in this solution will help your skin absorb and retain moisture, effectively leaving your face rejuvenated.
